What is cabotage?
Cabotage is the transport of goods between two ports within the same country. In Mozambique, this means shipping cargo along the coast from southern ports like Maputo to northern destinations like Afungi. While the term may be unfamiliar, it simply means we handle domestic coastal shipping within Mozambique's borders, a specialized service that requires local permits, knowledge of port regulations, and established relationships with customs authorities.
